Ten Pounds Worth of Change is an exciting new campaign from the Northern Ireland Youth Forum designed to promote social activism among young people in Northern Ireland and change public perception of young people's role within society.
Stuart Mullan, Director of the Youth Forum says:
Ten Pounds Worth of Change calls young people to shake off negative stereotypes often portrayed in the media, labels like 'hoodies' and 'happy-slapping', and rise to the challenge of inventing new solutions and contributing their ideas into the melting pot that is public decision making. It's about encouraging young people to develop innovative and creative solutions to the problems or frustrations they experience in their communities, or simply use their imagination to think of how spending as little as £10 could make their world a better place.Find out how you can join in.
